Sunset on icy clouds:
After vanishing behind the mountains, the sun still reflects off the clouds.
This unusual phenomena only happens in clouds of ice rather than liquid water. Liquid water forms spherical droplets that reflect light equally in all directions. But ice can from slivers or plates that reflect light in one direction. If those plates or slivers are aligned horizontally the sun will reflect in a stripe like this.
