The halibut weighed about 120 lbs, about 40 lbs, about 12 lbs, and about 8 lbs.
— Alaska recommends pregnant or nursing women, and children under 12, eat no more than one 6 oz serving of halibut over 90 lbs, per week. For our 40 lb. halibut they think 3-4 servings is fine.
