Nickname: "Polka Dots", "Mushroom"

Scientific name -- possible: Eudistoma molle, with an Ascidia callosa next to it
— Note the two tunicates in the picture. Description for the central one "Polka dots" follows. Colonial tunicate Habitat: Rocks, extreme low tide or under deep overhangs Description: Rounded lobes of orange zooids in transparent tunic. Superficially similar to my proposed Aplidiums and Distaplia, but these zooids are not arranged in systems, unlike those. Notes: in the Aaron Baldwin SE AK guide, their E. molle looks just like this: http://www.naturebob.com/sites/default/files/Aaron%20Baldwin%20Sealife%20of%20SE%20Alaska%2008-15-15.pdf . The BC tunicate guide has the Eudistomas and Ritterellas as the only colonials with no systems – both siphons of the zooid at the surface. I think I can see that in my pic.
