Fat-Bike Tour Northwestern Alaska

March, 2016 - Bjørn Olson and Kim McNett fat-biked from Nome to Kotzebue, then on to Kivalina.
— Crossing the sea ice to Sheshalik. Bjørn and Kim were unsure when they made it to Kotzebue if they'd be able to continue on because the trail conditions had become quite difficult. For two days, the temperatures warmed above freezing and re-froze at night - hardening the trail. With a bit of uncertainty they opted to carry on.
