Ground Truth Trekking

Corella willmeriana

Nickname: "Transparent" Habitat: Rocks, low intertidal. Found on ferry dock jetty, white rock beach Description: Transparent tunicate, digestive tract visible, slightly rough appearance. Notes: My examples fit your C. willmeriana photos and the key well. The only likely confusion would be with C. inflata, and I don't see the brood chamber – also the rectum extends most of the body length. I think C. willmeriana.
