As adventurers, we're kind of map nuts. Maps let you virtually explore a landscape, and are often a good way to get context for an issue that spans a broad geographic area (like Alaska!). The maps on this page were all created using Google Earth, and can be downloaded for use in Google earth, or viewed here in Google Maps form
